Biogenic CO2 emissions in innovative chemicals for bio-based industries – CO2SMOS
The Horizon 2020 EU project CO2SMOS aims to develop a platform of technologies to transform the carbon emissions generated by bio-based industries into a set o high added-value chemicals with direct use as intermediates for bio-based products. These molecules will be validated as renewable CO2-based commodities for the ormulation of high-performance biopolymers and renewabñe chemicals. This will help achieve zero or even negative carbon emissions as well as replacing fossil-based chemicals with more sustainable ones using renewable sources and CO2 as main raw materials.
This webinar aims to publicly present the project, its objectives and the expected benefits of CO2SMOS yo external stakeholders. The event will be an occasion to discuss with external stakeholders and gather insights/feedback from them to guide CO2SMOS research and development activities.
