[One Planet] Kenya´s water-energy-food nexus

Driving innovation at the water-energy-food nexus

From 10-13 March the ONEPlanet project is organising a Hackathon at Strathmore University, Nairobi.

A meeting where students, researchers, entrepreneurs and policy makers will come together to address critical challenges within the Kenyan water-energy-food nexus.

Participants will take part in different sessions:

Hackathon session – Developing policy solutions to address WEF challenges.
Living Labs session: exploration of implementation roadmaps, assets and innovation opportunities.
User Testing Session – Refinement of the ONEPlanet toolkit through expert feedback.

Our colleagues Carlos Bernabé and Adrián Mateo, from the Energy division, will organise the ‘User Testing Session’ which will take place on the 12th.
