SESAMO
Design and development of an on-board system for the guided movement assistance service for wardrobe doors.
Description
The objective of SESAMO is to conceive, design, configure, programme and adapt a system that facilitates and assists the user in their relationship with the doors of the wardrobe, improving several of the aspects surrounding its usability and performance compared to conventional ones. An on-board solution is proposed that transforms its environment into a collaborative environment. The system is based on a single brushless servo with current, speed and position control capable of individually moving each of the two leaves of the cabinet at the user’s will, thanks to a mechanical approach of coupling and uncoupling.
Objectives
-
- Develop a functional demonstrator.
- System capacity with two use modalities: Collaborative or Automatic.
Actions
- Conception and initial development of the idea.
- Mechanical design and dimensioning.
- Electronic desgin and configuration.
- Programming and kinematic control.
Expected results
- Final prototype.
R&D Line
- Development of assistive systems for collaborative robotics, such as AI modules for task management based on the physical and mental workload of the operator.
